About

DevYardstick is an independent directory and a weekly changelog. It is run by a working engineering manager who got tired of comparison pages written by the vendors being compared. No name is on the site on purpose.

How the data is collected

Every fact comes from a vendor's public pages, or from a third-party page when the vendor's site would not load. Each source has the date it was checked. If a vendor does not publish something, the field says Unknown. We do not fill the gap with a guess, a review quote, or a number we cannot point at.

Tools get a monogram, not a logo. Sponsored placements, if any, are labeled Sponsor and do not change sort order, quiz scores, or the facts.

If a price, host, or date is wrong, open a GitHub issue or write to devyardstick@gmail.com. Include the page you read. Tool pages also have a Suggest an edit link with the tool name already filled in.
