Time to restore
How long it takes to recover when something breaks in production. You will also see this called MTTR, mean time to restore.
Why it matters to an engineering manager
A long restore time is usually a system problem: detection, ownership, or a deploy path that cannot roll back. It is a poor measure of an individual's heroics.
Which tools measure this
Tools tagged DORA. A tag means the vendor's pages listed it. It does not mean every sub-metric is broken out.
