PR pickup and review time
How long a pull request waits before someone starts reviewing it, and how long the review itself takes. Tools that split cycle time usually include this. We tag that split under flow and cycle time, not as its own column, so check the tool before you assume pickup time is there.
Why it matters to an engineering manager
When AI writes more of the code, review is often the new queue. Pickup time tells you the queue. Review time tells you the work inside it.
Which tools measure this
Tools tagged Flow & cycle time. A tag means the vendor's pages listed it. It does not mean every sub-metric is broken out.
