Flow is shutting down

Updated 15 Oct 2026

Appfire, which bought Flow from Pluralsight in February 2025, has said it will retire Flow on 31 December 2027. Renewals beyond 30 June 2026 are no longer offered. A 60-day grace period applied to July and August 2026 renewals. Support and security updates continue until the retirement date.

These dates come from third-party reports quoting Appfire’s end-of-life notice. Appfire’s own Flow site did not load when we checked. Confirm the dates with Appfire before you plan around them.

Migration checklist

  1. Export the Flow history you will still need — cycle time, pull-request metrics, team mappings — while you have access.
  2. List the Flow reports leadership actually opens. Most teams use a handful.
  3. Decide what is new since you bought Flow. Most teams now also need AI-adoption tracking.
  4. Shortlist two or three tools that support your code host. The fit quiz only uses published fields.
  5. Run a trial beside Flow for at least one quarter so you can compare baselines.

The tables below are the other active tools in this directory. Sunsetting and pivoted products are left out. The order is alphabetical.
